A4 servicing - more audi confusion!

In my A4 've done 36k now, warning light on dash for;

Inspection 1200 miles or 38 Days
Oil Change 1000 miles or 223 days.

Ring up audi to ask what pricing it'll be, get quoted a price before it goes out of warranty (397) and one when before (329).

What is this all about? why does it cost more to service before it goes out of warranty? was this ballcocks?

I also need Stronic refilled @ 38k (Then says 40k on MyAudi?!?), then MOT at 3 years (end of Oct).

I'm thinking to spread cost I'll do oil/inspection/MOT a month early then S tronic service when it lights up, anyone done this?

Losing the plot with this I really am, audi servicing has never been easy to understand.

This is the third year and its on PCP, is independent servicing advisable?

That audi poole price is interesting why am i being quoted so much for what will just really be a pollen filter and oil change!

I've got quotes from Sailsbury for these.
