I haven't seen a dedicated Audi A6 thread so I thought I would start one.

I recently ordered one via the fantastic lease deal that appeared at the end of November so will have a bit of a wait to actually get the car. I'm hoping to get it around May 18 to join up with the time of my Passat Alltrack going back.

I haven't even had the chance to go look at an A6 yet, and I've never even sat in one, let alone take one for a test drive. But that's what happens with lease deals - buy now, and ask questions later is the motto of many of us on here!

So let us know what you ordered and pretty much anything else to do with the A6. Doesn't have to be leasing specific - would be good to get some real world owner opinion on the car.

My car will be the Avant, S-Line, black paint and grey seating selected. No options selected. I went with the sports suspension (default option) rather than the S Line suspension. As far as I understand, the SE suspension is called dynamic and is the most comfortable. The sports suspension is 20mm lower and is less comfortable but a bit tighter and the S Line suspension a further 10mm lower and a bit tighter/harder again. I wasn't sure what to pick so I just left it at the middle one, the sports suspension.

This is what I ordered

I enquired Thu and then again Fri by the bluechilli website form and got a call on Fri afternoon so not sure if I got the Thu deal or Fri deal. Mine is avant s line at £237 On 3+23 for 5k miles.

I took this screenshot and I think this was the deal at it's cheapest point? £157 9+23 5k miles for the se saloon.

Anyone had any paperwork since signing up for the deal and sending the agency contract back along with the other few forms.

Not heard anything but when I rang them to change the color, I was advised finance has been approved, nothing since.

Same here, just told it was approved and that admin will be in touch in due course. That was a week ago.

Thanks for making this thread, Soupdragon1.

The kumquat was very unhappy with me on the Thursday shortly after it was released. I've not sat in an A6 before (had plenty of A4s from Hertz over the years though).

I am delighted with the deal - I am moving from a 2015 Mercedes C250 AMG estate to this (around end of April). I love the Mercedes but it's just too expensive in comparison to whats available now and goes back early May.
I am planning to move home in the next 12 months, and affordability is key to that mortgage application.
I was actually considering just taking a punt on 2 years in a cheap Golf or something, so I'm delighted I'll still have a lot of space!

Anyway, fisted without hesitation was an A6 SE Exec saloon in boggo black.
With low cost my main driver, I have not chosen any options (but requested FOC black leather and model designation deletion).

3+23 @ 179.56 inc VAT.
Thats a 33k car smile for total 5028.56 incl fees over two years.

During the process I was hesitant about SE Exec vs S-Line.
Most cars in the past have been S-Line, M-Sport, or AMG Line for example - I prefer sportier appearance.
But on this occasion, and for only 2 years while the house move progresses, I simply went low cost. Not very PH, but in just 2 years time I can look for the car I want, not a daily driver like the A6.

PHLeaser
Good timing then, looks like you got the deal at it's cheapest price. £5k for a £33k car is about 15% ish so thats one of the cheapest lease deals ever. How much was the Mercedes lease out of interest?

9+23 @ £145 for me. Headline deal, 5k SE model in freebie black. I didn't know you could debadge the rear for free frown

I have just came out of a focus ST2 lease 3+23 @ £203. I actually bought a 2010 Leon FR to replace it but we are not getting on, so that will be up for sale come March. Thankfully the Mrs understood how good a deal the A6 is!

I also have an 18 plate private reg waiting for the Audi to arrive muhaha!
Gosh, didn't realise they were ever that cheap. Nice catch smile

Here is an actual pic of the grey interior. Very similar to how it looks on the configurator to be fair (albeit with the black edition dash trim which we don't get)

I quite like it.

They've matched the deal Car Leasing Online deal offered to me (bar a penny).

They've asked me pay another arrangement fee though of a further £360, and then they've brought down the profile to £260.59 on a 3+23, 10000 miles a year. The total would be 2 x £360 + £6775.24 = £7495.34 i.e a penny more expensive than Car Leasing Online

I have asked though that if they cannot source the car for any reason will they refund the 2 lots of arrangement fees?

I'm not a suspicious soul, i just think that it is better to be safe than sorry.

If/when I have this in writing i'll be putting pen to paper and ordering the BE with them.

Its more for the Bose than anything, I used to have Harmon Kardon in a Mini Cooper S and it sounded fantastic.

I hope i'm not comparing apples and oranges?

I was thinking of doing the same too. Mostly for the Bose system but 20 rims will look good - just hope they don't ruin the ride. I don't like the steering wheel, no need for it as i prefer a round one and will cost £200 via the heated steeringwheel to get shot of it. Privacy glass is a bonus.

Just looking at the free colours and rims for the Black Edition.

What do we think is the best combo here folks?

I spent an evening "YouTubing" various combinations of A6 colours, and settled on Daytona. Also saw some criticism of the standard MMI, so opted for tech pack.

One thing I have found is that the ambient light pack can be retrofitted for very little, and the Audi ringed puddle lights are a straight swap for the standard door lights...( less than £10 a pair) so £600 saving to be had there.

I anticipate a few delay woes with this deal, but we'll see.
Retrofit on ambilight pack? How So? I might do it

Silver will make it a much nicer cabin IMO. Still black carpets etc so just a set of wipes in the glove box and you're all set smile

Did anybody get maintenance? Those tyres are obscenely expensive to replace.
I sort of fell into maintenance. Ended up getting it for free by a bizarre twist. I don't think I'll actually need it as ill only do about 14k miles but a good back up to have.

I quite like the look of the A6 "Hearse" edition Avant. I took one for a test drive, drove along the motorway, and was pulled over and ticketed by the police for undertaking.

Joking aside, they look great in the flesh.
Very good hehe

They do look good in the flesh and the lights are very nice. The only thing I'm not keen on is the strobing indicators. They look a bit 'fruit machine' to me. I wonder can you change them in the settings so that they just blink?

Who is the best broker/dealer to get the xc60 with? Might get one myself instead of the a6

For those who have not cancelled their order yet:

There is a meeting to decide a final outcome between Lex & Audi at the end of this month. It is possible that if Lex won't fund it that Audi will fund it through VWFS as they don't want 400+ cars on order without a home to go to
Really? How did you find this out?
