Audi S1 - APR Stage 1 ECU mod

Hi there, does anybody have an S1 with the APR Stage 1 modification? If so, what effect did it have on your insurance premium?

Tried to do some online quotes but it seems challenging to specify the exact type of modification it is and i'd want to be 100% certain I was fully covered.

Hmmm yes, I realise ringing them is almost certainly the best course of action - My internet addled brain is just so reluctant to do anything at all over the phone these days, it seems like such a mighty inconvenience.

Spoke to them on the phone and it's an increase on standard of about £70 for the year - So not too terrifying a price jump, I was expecting worse for a 27% power increase.

A pre owned S1 is next on the list and the quattro makes much more sense where we live out in the sticks.

Sorry Daggerpie I can't help - I don't have one, i'm considering a few different options and one car that i've seen for sale has the APR remap, hence the initial question.
