1.8T Octavia/Passat

Hi all
Just wondering about reliability & economy of the 1.8 turbo petrol in the octavia and passat CC of around 2010-2011 age
Any major problems with them? What sort of MPG should I expect? Around a 20 mile commute 75% motorway

That's annoying.

Can't go for a different petrol engine (I believe there was a 2.0FSI in a passat) either because insurance goes even higher through the roof.
