TT Sport queries

Hi Guys,
A friend has a TT Sport for sale, which i might be interested in.
It doesn't have cruise, (part of the 'weight saving'?
). Can it be fitted, using an original VAG stalk?. I imagine that the wiring is in place, as part of the loom, is this correct?
Can the engine be chipped further, and also, i've read somewhere that the 4wd ecu can be chipped to have it change the bias, and send more power to the rear wheels, does anyone know anything about this?
(I'm aware of the TT OC forum boards, but somethings got a grip of my PC and i can't receive emails, so can't register myself on the site.)
