Just been out in the mother's TT, very nice, always been wary of the hairdresser image, but as my wife's a hairdresser, I thought i'd get away with a quick blast. Anyway, impressions are good, apart from an annoying jolt when accelerating in first gear, not too sure if that's some sort of TC or not though?
It certainly feels quick, and I did give it some stick on a nice clear roundabout, to see what it did, for some reason I think it understeers slightly, which (bear in mind i've never so much as glanced at the spec sheet on one of these) wasn't what I expected. It was a short drive, but it seems very spirited. Engine note is dissapointing, but then I didn't expect fireworks. Overall, for my mum, a nice motor, and my thoughts on them has changed substantially.
