Does anyone per chance know any past history on this Griff ?

Please confirm that I'm genuinely utterly bonkers to be even contemplating selling my Z4MR and getting back into a TVR
Previouslu had a big bad wedge 4.6 and an S2 which were both totally unreliable with bits falling off and the former cost me eyewatering amounts
I also once came very close the buying Rob Ingelbys Griff -indeed he inspected the wedge for me
I just think the Griffs are the most beatiful cars to behold -cant afford a big valve precat so the 5L is next best option i guess
In fact one of the reasons I bought the M was because i thought it was the closest thing to Griff but with the inbuilt BMW reliability
But you know how it is when you still have that itch ,and while the BMW is truly epic ....

PS-sorry for the typo in the title

Thanks for that balanced perspective on TVR ownership .
I guess the BMW is just a bit -dare a say it teutonic and clinical - and doesnt have the charm of the TVR.
For example I never get people waving and smiling or other drivers flashing their lights at me in the BMW the way i did in my TVR
If you think the 3.0 Z4 E86 was good then the 3.2 M is a different beast altogether -the lengendary S54 engine which was the last of the great NA M engines -mind you the noise isnt in the same league as a precat V8 Griff .
