GKN Diff Maserati Mystery

Every now & again the Griff/Chim GKN diff is purported to also reside in some bygone Maserati or other.
A bit of searching & sniffing shows it to be very similar to the diff from the Maserati biturbo/Spider/222 as shown in the schematic below.

It's the correct era, & comparing photos of the TVR GKN & the Masser Biturbo diff also show them very similar if not identical. The 13/43 CWP tooth count ties in with our quoted 3.31 ratio. Obviously, TVR are not using the torque tube & extension shaft, & different styles of alloy rear finned diff cover are shown depending upon the model but it all seems to tie up.
