I'm hoping that someone can help me here.

I know how to check plug lead order from a distributor but how do you check it with coil packs?

I've got a Canems ECU with 8 coil packs and recently I had to remove the plug leads from the coil packs. I'm not 100% convinced that I've put them back correctly. The fact that they are batch fired makes me even more confused (not difficult at my age!).

Advice will be most appreciated.

Thanks Carsy for the info. I will do as you suggest and contact Canems first.

Thanks chaps for the info. The diagram explains it all and am relieved to see that I have in fact put the leads on correctly.

All I want now are some snap on plug lead numbers but they seem rather elusive.

Thanks again.

Worth noting that it's possible to arrange the wiring and leads so the HT leads on the right side of the pack connect to the right cylinders and the left side to the left bank and approx front to back:

Pack 2:
Green Wire - 8 & 5
Yellow Wire - 4 & 7
Pack 1:
Red Wire - 2 & 3
Black Wire 6 & 1

(well you can with edis coil packs, dont see any difference here)

Here's the same idea applied on my chevy which has the same firing order:

Surely in the Canems diagram the even numbered leads do go to the o/s bank and odd to the n/s bank?

I'm probably being a bit dim here, could you explain further.

Thanks for the links...just what I was looking for but only came across the ones you slide on before crimping the terminals.
