Griff Rear Hub Separation
Discussion
Hi
I'm in the midst of stripping down my rear hubs and suspect that the hub assembly should just pull away from the hub without too much trouble? Mine are refusing to part, even when I grip the carrier in the vice, place a socket over the hub's spline end and hit it with a hammer. No budging. Nothing. Am I missing something or should I just be less gentle with my persuasion?
Before I removed the oil seal:
I just don't want to break anything by being gung-ho!
TIA
