I’m planning on removing my Griff dash to redo the cracked veneer and also to replace one of the light latching switches which is a bit intermittent. Is it best to go use the ones supplied by the likes of TVR car parts or is there an alternative supplier? I’ve heard that RS components do a similar switch to the original, any info would be much appreciated.

I’d prefer to either stick with the originals or a good quality substitute as I don’t want to be removing the dash every 5 mins to replace them!! I was just interested to find out if any forum members had used the RS ones in particular.?

I have tried the RS switches, and they indeed now have flat rather than concave buttons. The ones RS used to supply were concave as originally fitted by TVR. I seem to remember that there was an issue with trying to swop button caps over, so what I did was to fit the new switch to the dash light position, where it can't be seen, and fit the dash light switch to the dash switch position so they all matched. You may be able to do this if yours are the same and you only need to replace one switch.
Thanks all for your reply’s, I’ve been looking online at the SP60 RS buttons, they seem very cheap compared to the original TVR ones.....I would be best to replace the lot then there should be no issues at a later date and they would all look the same.
