I'm thinking of banning people from getting in my car now, it's just not worth the aggro sometimes.
It seems they just aern't aware of what they are doing, muddy boots etc.
The last episode was a broken glove box, after my mate tried to force it closed after putting too much stuff in it! So now the glove box drops down on the right hand side, I've had a look, but can't seem to see what's wrong. There's a threaded bolt but nothing for it to go into.
Any help appreciated...

Thanks folks, I can't find the missing bolt, I'll have a look around inside the car, but all I can see on the glove box are two fairly thick bolts sticking out from the sides, the one on the right doesn't seem to have anything to screw into?

Thanks all, managed to sort it out, the bolt had fallen out of the box somehow, and lodged itself under the carpet!!
Managed to get it back in and all seems fine.

Hi,
Mine was also not working. I have a radio with USB cable connection available.
I simply use the USB connector to close the glovebox. Very efficient, useful and simple.

I've got a magnetic clasp, that's fine, the problem I had was that the right hand bolt that holds the glove in had worked its way out and got swept out of the box onto the floor, it was easy to replace once I found it!
The magnet option works well, I'll take a photo tomorrow and show you...
