What’s this.....electrical box

So the dash is out, found what looks to me like a delay IC chip and relay board, this was badly fitted in a box which didn’t fit at all?

Guessing wash/wipe?

So, it’s a multi function timer unit. In this case set up as on delay. Two light blue wires....

Likely fitted to bypass something standard...but what?

Good shout, that’s the one thing that has never worked. I wonder if it’s just changing the setting?
