...apart from all the nostalgic feelings, can't believe she has 'appreciated' £10,000 in 5 years!

Wonder if I made the right choice?

Agreed.

And the work that has been done to it - Outriggers and clutch.

Just makes you wonder - that's all.

whats the car like !!
Wow - that's a big question.

It's the completion of every boy's dream to own - the noise, the looks, the shear joy it brought on a hot summers day.

I'm guessing you are more concerned about condition!

Hard to say for sure now, I sold it 5 years ago, but owned it from 1998-2013.

It sounds like money has been spent on the important bits, so I would think it well worth a look.

It was getting to the age when electric connections were starting to suffer, (e.g. wing mirror adjustment and buttons not working) but the engine was solid.

Hope it gets a good new home.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think i was taken advantage of, and am fully supportive of those who make a living dealing with the marque - long may it survive.

At the time, that was just under the going price and I didn't fancy the task of getting the outriggers done (Beyond my level of competency).

My point is that we all believe our car choices will one day be future classics, and now glad to say it is.

As for now, I have a similar car for the weekends. One which I smile everytime I get into, and believe will one day start to 'appreciate'. Just hope it's still mine when it does!
