Oversized 5ltr pistons?
Discussion
So after 6 years of dealing with the repercussions of the WORST engine builder on the planet it turns out they used the wrong pistons!
Since this has cleaned me out, we are now doing things properly from scratch so it's perfect..... to sell. We have two options and since the cylinders need doing as well we have two options.
So basically I need 8 5ltr or oversized.
Long shot but does anyone have any they have not used for a project?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers fellas, think it was a spur of the moment post after one of "those" weeks.
But go on I'll list some them...
Valves not seated or lapped.
Bent push rods.
Wrong small pistons.
Old head gaskets re used.
Head dropped and badly scored.
Lose bolt in timing gear launched oil pump and grenaded engine.
Block not top hatted as claimed.....
If I wrote it all it would go on forever, lol
Thanks anyway.

Hi Ian .. who has said the wrong pistons were fitted and what did they say was actually wrong with them ? The engine has been to bits a couple of times, why weren't the wrong pistons picked up on a previous strip down?
A precise breakdown / timeline of events would help, but if someone is claiming now after all this time that the wrong pistons are fitted I'd want to make sure they're not trying to cover their backs over a previous mistake that they can neatly brush under the carpet by getting you to buy new oversize pistons ...
