My catch was broke when i brought The griffith but some one had stuck some velcro strips which where doing a great job up until now.
have tried fixing the broken plastic bit as suggested in the bible but mine had looked like it had been in a fight with Tyson.
By now i am and have been to Homebase and brought two catches i think will do the job.
2 hours later and no FRIGGING joy.

Looks like i might just wedge it shut unless any of u good old folks have found any good replacments.

'crumbs Dm' thats the quickest reply i have ever had.

Thats what ive done at the mo, racked them up tight and wedge a bit off cardboard up the side.
I just hate things left like that though, for some sad reason i know it will bug me.

I believe that a Blackpool company called TVR or something like that do replacement catches and the latest ones are pretty strong. They have dealers scattered round the country...

I tought of all people the MESSIAH would have a better response than that.

Went to DIA and couldnt find anything there resembling anything decent to use.
So brought some Velcro stuff for know and a nice wedge of cardboard

Finaly done my glovebox.Using a central door lock actuator you simply press in exactly the same place as before and the box drops down. Press back up and it locks. Being on the ignition key means it is safe when parked with the roof down.

How much for one David and whats an actuator.

Technical tip: a good girlfriend will keep it closed with her knee ...

Or her head depending on which way you put her in.
I get more sense out of mine speaking to the Furry Cup
