I currently have standard plug leads fitted and they have been fine but as they are now a few years old I want to replace them with standard leads - Thinking Bosch. So which range rover set fits the 500 serp or is there another Bosch set? Any info appreciated.

Thanks for the thoughts, still not sure which range rover leads would fit correctly and whether the king lead is a different length though. Being able to check those available would give me a better choice... I think.

An interesting link as some of the sleeving is rated at high temperatures (700-1000C!) and is available in various diameters, so any idea which you used and what diameter? Prices aren't bad either.

I've been looking at heat boots from the UK; plenty on fleabay which look ok but do they actually work? They seem to be fibreglass with some having a "special coating" (?) and all claim to be ok to 6/700c so ...whilst the much more expensive basalt socks may be better are they or the material to make your own any better in practical terms in terms of protecting the leads to give them a reasonable life.
(Not trying to get overly cheap here but I won't be able to use the car much this year and might get grief for spending again ...)
