brake judder

when i brake from high speed i get a fast hard judder through the steering wheel , tried all the usual things, balanced the tyres , they are new Toyo's, checked the brake shoes , new 1000 miles ago , the fault came quite quickly one day not there next day its bad. the car still brakes in a stright line which leads me to think its not a sticking caliper .
any ideas greatly appreciated

Thanks for all the replies: I contacted TVR £79 each for a front disc so I ordered a couple, a word of warning TVR machine there own discs for a Griff and do not recommend ford replacements don't know why .

Thanks for all your replies , I have fitted the new discs and a new set of disc pads and the problem has gone away , I did indeed have a 25 thou warp on the near side disc and one cracked disc pad on either wheel , strange , they were fairly new , and I dont use the car on track days!
the braking is now spot on better than new I suspect with no fade whatsoever.
