new discs

Griff has just failed the MOT for 'front brakes not balanced', it looks as if one of the discs is warped!
So after an expensive rad replacement last month I was tempted to have a go myself until the bible scared me half to death.
Is it a relatively straight forward job or am I better off paying the pro's? And any thoughts on sourcing the discs?

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll have a go myself!
Has anyone tried the Rossini replacement disks (they're in todays Sunday Times Driving mag)?
