Windscreen Replacement

I've got windscreen inusrance but would like some advice on how to proceed with a claim. My Griff suffers from the common problem of water getting between the laminates at the lower corners of the screen. This has been unsightly but not a major problem. However, a crack has now appeared (probably due to freezing) so it's about time I replaced the screen. My questions are:-

1) Can I claim against my insurance?

2) Do I have to use a general glass repair company or can I take my car to a TVR specialist?

3) If I do have to use a general glass repair company - can anybody tell me who might be best?

I'm insured with Mannings through the TVR club.
