I built this car many moons ago, before z cars offered a kit. It ran and drove, but unfortunatly I had to sell it in haste due to a messy divorce.

Does anybody know of it's whereabouts?

I know this is a two year old posting but:

Mark,
Do you know if the zx14 MOTOR is lot bigger or could one substitute it easily for the zx12? Do you have any pictures of the build? Especially the diff / rear suspension and the bare motor subframe?
Thanks, Bert in USA
Hi Bert.
I have not got a clue if the zx14 motor is different, sorry. I will dig out some more pictures and post them. Are you building something similar?
I never did find out what happened to the car. Shame.

The front subframe was a modified mini subframe. I cut quite a bit of it out and bent/welded the tubular frame in.
My proudest achievement believe it or not was the wiring loom! I got the mini stalk cluster wired into the Kawasaki ecu. The indicators, lights and ignition.

The diff was a sierra cosworth LSD, the trailing arms were modified Sierra items. The rear subframe was custom made and bolted onto the Mini subframe mounts. Driveshafts were custom made.

WOW!

I built and sold this car back around 2004. It's really sad to see it unfinished and in this state. How did it end up like this?
