Hi
I am having a mini city modified.
1293cc rebore, crank, flywheel etc balanced
276 cam
MG Metro Big valve head
LCB with RC 40 exhaust
Centre mains strap
Pre verto clutch assembly
Twin 1.5 SU carbs
Steel Vernier
10:1 ratio pistons
Straight cut gears
4 pin diff
Rally strengthened drive shafts
GAz lowered shocks
Stripped out shell with cage fitted
Front end removed but steel hinged front end fitted
Power steering (Vauxhall corsa modified)
Megajolt ignition/electrics
Twin tanks and electric fuel pump
Sitting on 10 inch minilites plus 7.5 S calipers and disc
Car should be finished in 2 weeks
What performance can i expect and handling its primarly a fast road car so comments appreciated

Hi thanks for the message, i think 90bhp i uploaded pictures it needs the ignition set up and a rolling road, the wheels are not fitted yet as they will only go on when ptoject finished

Hi
I cant get old classic mini's out of my head, new cars today feel like they drive us.
I have owned a 1970 1275gt, 2 mini 850s, 1380 mini, 998 mini and now a 1293 they are old school technology i love that

The megajolt set up has not been fully setup yet the car goes for a rolling road next week to do the finals to it, the garage got the engine started as through a laptop you can do that and hey ho she started, according to the garage it runs well but will be interesting to see the rolling road results

On the diff ratio i dont know yet will check and let you know, the mini has a lightened flywheel and it and the assembly was fully balanced Gosnays did the engineering on the engine
