Hello all
The bottom of my door is falling apart fast and from the picys i wonder what peoples opinions on whether i should get it re-skinned or just source a 2nd hand door and get it re-sprayed

Cheers cooperman
Is what i was thinking
Im tempted to put ally skins on but as long as the paint is layered on nice and thick corosion is not normally a problem
I thank rovers cost cutting for the state of my car!!!

Ill probably end up just asking for a crate of beer for the door
Beer has better bargaining potential then money

Cheers Paul you would save me whole lot of trouble if I can get doors the same colour
I'm in no great hurry as the engine is coming out soon but if you could let me know as soon as you do that would be very much appreciated

Thanks Fatboy I couldn’t just take them because ill probably pass them on to Chris if you don’t mind so ill give you some money for them if your sure you don’t need them

Thanks, you guys are too good

I'm gonna change my final drive.
Its currently a 3.1 and i'm changing to a 3.4 as its to over geared!
I do like its gearing now, its perfect for motorways but i just cant pull away quick without slipping the clutch
Currently it does 40mph in 1st 65 in 2nd 100 in third and the most ive ever done is 120 so i think i can drop it without loosing to much top speed .
What do u think would be a good ratio?

Hello Cooperman
Yeah my engine is far from std with most of the power after 4000rpm
Theres not allot low down which is whats making it hard to pull away!!
I will try the 3.4 first and see how it is!

But the car was handling V well till i took it of the road so it is HUGE thanks to you and Chris
Do you know if chris still needs doors?
