Performance V8 4 ltr engine.

Your thoughts on 4ltr performance engine builders, need good high torque and bhp.

Still chewing the fat but looking like Rover 4ltr the best direction, we are stuck with this size to stay inside the rules as someone stated.

As we are in a production class the Rover V8 is looking the right choice and around 300bhp and 300ft lb torque will work fine with the Quaife 6 speed sequential box.

This is for a brand new Defender 110 we have in build at present.

Thanks for your help as i have no experience with the Rover V8, someone mentioned "flat plane crank" or something like that, your thoughts please.

Does anyone have any experience with flat plane engines ?
