I've had 5 punctures requiring new tyres since February as we have two miles of rough lane from my home (I know if I slowed down I would have had probably half of these). I have 22 inch wheels on my L405. I also managed to get it stuck in mud in a field recently. I've had a couple of defenders in the past and have done quite a bit of off road activity. I wonder if I would have had these problems in my last defender with its grabber AT2's. I loved those tyres on and off the road. Are there any alternative tyre options for me?

I can get grabber AT3 but only on 20 inch wheels which may not fit my model. If 20 inch wheels fit then I may go down this option. I do 18K miles a year so not sure how these tyres will be on normal roads, I suppose just a little louder

The standard 20" wheels fit all of them (as do the 19") - Grabber AT3s and Goodyear DuraTrac (more aggressive) come in 255/55R20.
Thats not what I was told. I was told possibly 20 inch but depends on the model .. caliper size

Just bought some secondhand 20" range rover alloys. Deciding whether to put Copper At3 sports on or grabber at3's. Also what size .. 285/50/20 or 255/55/20.

I was gonna say; I think you'd struggle to find anything other than a standard road tyre for a 22" wheel. When you think about it, 22"s are pretty ridiculous on a Range Rover.
They are and they do look a bit Cheshire!
