Range Rover bottom feeding...
Discussion
Hi,
I am going to be doing a lot of 'stuff' with the house, and will be needing to tow and be generally useful.
I also want to scratch my Range Rover itch after selling my P38 4.0SE about 6 years ago.
I am looking at spending about £4k-£5k and am looking at some very nice P38's.
I have also seen that some tidy early L322's are down to that money now.
I'm not looking for a cheap car, but a good value one, and figure that at that money the P38 and early L322 is pretty much at rock bottom for a good car, which will be a 3rd car in the house.
On a P38 I'd only have a V8 and never been a fan of LPG.
However on an L322 I am not bothered if I have a TD6 or a V8.
Question to you all is what (if any) advantages do I get either way.
If you had to choose between 4.6 V8 / TD6 / 4,4 V8 which would you have & why?
Thanks.
