Anyone own a 2015 RRS?

Thinking of buying one but have a question about sat nav, do the turn directions pop up in the instrument panel or do you have to read them off the central display? Thanks.

Thanks. This is on the clunky old system, right? I'm coming out of a 2015 BMW with HUD and I'm dreading it a bit to be honest, the iDrive is pretty good really.

Thanks chaps. How far in advance does the binnacle display give until the next turn? For example in my HUD it'll say something like 5 miles until the next turn, does the RRS do something similar?

Thanks mate, appreciated. In know it sounds daft but the HUD is just brilliant and my frau loves it, we travel a lot overseas and find it invaluable. When I first starting using it I was a bit indifferent to it and just switched it off but now it's almost a deal breaker. Daft really.

FWIW I think I've worked out the distance the map comes up on the dash before a turn:

Motorways - 1.2miles
A Roads - 650yds
B Roads - 450yds

Plenty of time to react in each situation!

Really helpful, thanks again. I found one RRS last week with a HUD but the interior looked like it was owned by Edward Scissorhands, it was just scratched to feck. One thing I did find interesting was that it didn't have a speed limit display which I've also found really helpful overseas. No substitute for the Mk1 eyeball of course. Anyway, I've found another car but we can't get to see it until mid-Oct which is really frustrating as we suspect it'll have gone by then. This one is a bit newer and has the updated infotainment with a speed limit display. Fingers crossed it's still there by 13th Oct.
