Today after weeks of looking at all kinds of stuff. I decided I couldn't decide/afford any of the stuff I really wanted.

Having sold my daily about 2 months ago and getting tired of driving the summer car in this crap weather I spotted a nice 2011 l322 4.4tdv8 at what looked like cheap money. The next thing you know I'm off on a 300 mile round trip and it on my drive.

Now I'm normally a sorts/ super saloon type. But a few years ago I had a p38 4.6 for a few months and despite it being a nail and slow and leaking more fluids than you could put in, there was something about it.

So the l322. It's some car like a LOT of car it feels huge.
But with that 4.4tdv8 and 8 speed box it's a peach.

I didn't hang about on the way home but still returned an impressive 30.2mpg and for the best part of 3 tons it shifts along ok.

I have to say so far I'm very impressed. Pics tomorrow when it's not dark if anyone is interested.

So no time for cleaning today. So hear is a pic of it filthy.

A few bits I've ok picked up on in the past two days.

There is a pronounced wheel wobble is around 75 which disappears but can be felt through the car up to higher speeds.

Could be balance or bent wheel. It has 20" rims but the looks a bit small. Or just a bit of a dull design.

The rubber seals around rear tail gate glass are bubbeling and look a bit crap.

The spare wheel appears to be missing

The A and D pillars are body colour I've only seen one other like it. Was it factory? I kind of think black is better.

Oh and the rear wiper is crap

Perfect thanks. I'm surprised you can't have it so that when you select park it lowers but no big deal just easier for the Mrs
