Discovery Sport - Low Battery ?

Just returned from a trip in the US to find my DS is telling me the battery is low.

Bought it just before Christmas, surely it cant need a new battery already?

Oh it's a couple of years old and had 8000 miles on the clock when i bought it just before Christmas from a land rover dealer.

The dealer has said this is normal and the battery will recover once i start using it regular again - which sounds odd to me.

Since i bought it it's been used daily. Then it's been left for 6 days on my drive !
