Can anyone shed any light on Land Rover production capacity / productivity at the moment?
I placed an order around a month ago for an Evoque PHEV and a Discovery Sport PHEV. I've been told that the Evoque has a build slot of late September, but that LR are not even accepting orders for the Discovery Sport PHEV - Evidently it's gone into a 'holding pool' which sounds as damp as the answer.
Wondering whether to keep the faith or jump out and get something else...

Thanks,
Linkin (at the back of the queue for patience)

Thanks for the update.

Latest from our side is that the Evoque PHEV will be late September/Early October and the Discovery Sport PHEV will be December.

Hi jgrewal,

Update from my side is that my Evoque PHEV order should have been released from the factory on 2nd October, and the DSport PHEV was scheduled for build later this week (16th October)
I've heard nothing on the Evoque PHEV delivery since, and i'm chasing my dealer. (Ordered through Franchise)

I'll come back with any updates...

Absolutely! Patience of a Saint!

I'm all out of my limited reserves of patience now, but there is no obvious Plan-B for me, apart from taking the plunge on a nearly-new RRS

Seems like JLR are keen not to be shipping vehicles with misleading efficiency....

There's been a news embargo from JLR regarding WLTP figures for PHEV models.
LR are only producing 'Test Energy High' models, which i believe are SE ++
Knock-on effect is that they are reducing WLTP MPG and anticipated EV-Only mileage estimates which will have a negative impact on BIK costs.

My Evoque order (R-Dynamic SE with options) is built but was held in WIP and is now being released, so i should see it within a couple of weeks.

No idea about my Discovery Sport order yet (again, R-Dynamic SE with options)

That ties up with what i'm being told about my Evoque PHEV order.
Evidently it was built but held in 'WIP' (i read this as stuck in a big car park somewhere in the midlands) but is now cleared for release with the new WLTP figures.

WIP - Released - Delivered to franchise hub - Local franchise - PDI - Me - Immediately passed to SWMBO.

My Disco Sport was due to go into build this Friday, but sounds iffy to me - I'll update when i hear anything more positive.

Good news.
My dealer said that he’d update me on my Discovery Sport delivery over the weekend. It’s supposed to be in build today! Fingers crossed.

Hi jgrewal,

At last, they seem to be progressing now.
My Evoque is at the dealer pdi centre and my Discovery Sport has been built and awaiting factory release.
I'm starting to believe it'll actually happen

Snap!
We picked up the Evoque P300e this morning.
I got to touch it, and pay the bill, but SWMBO has disappeared off in it.... maybe i'll see it at the weekend.

My DS P300e is due in 7days, it's somewhere in between factory and PDI
