Just picked up this D300 R-Dynamic HSE for the wife. Pre-reg with 10 miles on the clock, £8k off so happy days. A few nice little extras over the normal HSE spec so more than happy. We tend to keep our Discos for about 7 or 8 years so hoping this will be as good as our old 4. The old girl is off to her new owners soon for more adventures, a wee bit sad to see her go.

First chance to have a proper drive in it this morning. Pleasantly surprised, so far this engine seems like a perfect match for the car. Was tempted with a P360 but didn't have a chance to test drive either. The D300 seems to be everything the car needs. Was a bit unsure about the wife choosing Byron blue also but it really pops in the sun cool

Yep, just worked it out and this is our 5th. 1st was a 300TDI when I was about 20. We've always had one on the drive in one guise or another. I actually was thinking about a LWB RR this time around but the wife still wanted the 7 seats. Her dad's not too well and has given up driving so it was either another Disco or take 2 cars. Think she made the right call though

Just noticed the McLaren hiding at the back! What a perfect pairing! (Minus the Merc, that’s spoiling it…. biggrin)
Haha, I agree. We call it the 'pool' car

You can't spec. rear entertainment anymore. Apparently, it's old tech and everything is going via their 'click and go' system now. Which is fine, however the only brackets they offer either fit a few Apple devices (no thanks) or old Samsung tablets from 2014! Nothing that is universal. It's only a bracket and doesn't integrate with the infotainment in any way. Just seems odd you're so limited.
