Anyone heard about this?

Seller Express has just been told that it will no longer have access to Amazon's personal order data (PII) from 27 Aug. That means that this 3rd party system that one of my businesses uses to bulk process amazon orders will now no longer pull the buyer name, address line 1, address line 2, buyer phone number from Amazon

Which will make label creation etc. a bit of problem....

Is it affecting other developers / 3rd party applications?

I have discovered more

Amazon has selected some third party suppliers that are eligible to receive the data and others that are not. Seller Express is one of the unlucky ones.

As is not unusual with Amazon, the reasons given for Seller Express not making the cut are.... not given to them by Amazon

So Seller Express won't have access to any Amazon data at all, at any time?
That isn't what I said in OP

The data that Amazon is keeping back is

buyer name,
address line 1,
address line 2,
buyer phone number

for now... I suspect this could be the thin end of the wedge. It isn't in Amazon's interest - or nature - to enable third parties to prosper.

It does seem as if this is limited to seller express. None of the other providers that I have spoken to have any issue

I wonder if this was a factor in Amazon's decision
