So I’m intrigued with TikTok, can it be harnessed? If so then how?
I started playing about giving snippets of gold interspersed with a few family type videos to my 8 followers for the first month. Thereafter I was lucky to get 1000 views then after filming a paperweight LFC sent me and rapidly getting likes, followers and comments I was hooked and tried harder to no avail.
Then I was about to do an Amazon FBA reality check vid when I decided to put two AA batteries up my nose, see the results below.
My new target is 1000 followers allowing me to live stream, bet I get to 999 and it gets banned.
Ps - a PHr found me on the Tok - surreal.

Sparky that’s amazing! I was chuffed with my 1000 !! Now imagine those 21000 paid you £1 / $1 a month for your advice and content.

I am not sure "insert batteries here" is advice worth $1.
I dunno, im sure he could charge something.
Not sure, I guess it will depend on whether feedback is positive or negative.

Thank you 🙏 it’s hard going but I have some good tips coming up like - how to use a cat as a hairpiece etc biggrin it’s just a bit of fun but a few people have asked for a call and I’m happy to spend 10 mins - why not.

Latest vid I’m flexing the Bentayga and it’s running at 1500 views per hour ! My record is 31k views but I think this will beat it.

It’s common knowledge I’ll be unemployed after this month, my 1 week taking tiktok and shortly you tube and insta has made me reconsider the business I had planned and make a mentoring / help service instead.

Looked at your vids.

Isn't it a bit dangerous? Short videos that may lead to "a little knowledge is dangerous" actions.

People buying 300 fans or led toilet seat light that they will never shift for a profit.
But my videos tell them they won’t be able to just do it, polar opposite of the kids selling courses. On the toilet lights it was a bet I couldn’t buy an item on eBay, double the price and sell it on eBay - challenge accepted and won, nearly 2000 sold now.
People should have a go, bundle kit, relabel kit etc just putting up generic stuff will never succeed in numbers.

Well done on trying to use it for business and actually making me download it.

But the rest of it is dirge. Stupid dances, memes and rap crap backing music.

My kids are addicted to it and had their heads bowed watching it on holiday. Whether we were driving through spectacular scenery or sitting on a fantastic beach.

It irritates the hell out of me as it just sounds like someone trying to tune in an old bakelite radio and can never quite find the Light Programme hehe

I did try to find some car stuff I might be interested in but it was all far too short and mostly with the crap rap as backing music.

I'll stick to You Tube thanks.
I agree it’s full of crap but I’m interested in where it could go, and I’ve nothing better to do right now.

Thanks for the reply.

A noob question, but how does shipping work? Do you physically mail out the 2000 yourself?
Yes my wife has agreed to max 10 orders a day across 60 SKUs and it covers a good chunk of the house Sainsbury’s bill. I just enjoy a dabble I don’t depend on it,

Love it - which video ? I’m going live tonight warning of the dangers of FBA and possibly cover product sourcing. It’ll be me and a few 12 year olds no doubt

Cheers - that is up to 38k views, and amazingly I have had a enquiry for help setting up a decent e comm project - wasn't expecting that!

Accumulating nicely, inspired questions such as “what sells on FBA” and “who’s the best supplier” keep me on my toes. Aim is to get 10k by sept through constant sprinkling of my e-commerce gold dust to the masses biggrin

Just signed up as the company and follow you Dave.

One questions, we have a max of a minute, split in the 15sec sessions. Do you record as one straight minute of as 4x 15sec’s?? And the app pulls them together.

I think it will be great as a product blast type infomercial.
Hi Chris, using the app set to 60 seconds and record bits it synchs them - if you want to talk over a picture use green screen. It’s easy once you practise a bit. I love it. Once you have 1000 followers you can go live. I have a hack I’ll try to call you weds.

Sold a fan! Brilliant. And you are right, there are some gurus out there that would build a £297 course around that
Ah the Home Bargain £2.99 fan sold for £14.99 is better - I do it to satisfy my own sense of smugness biggrin

It’s refreshing to see you giving real advice, not trying to sell a course with the same regurgitated rubbish. Are you looking at becoming an e-commerce consultant?

P.s Congrats on the sale of your agency
Cheers!
All of my plans from 1/9 have been torn up, The £1 e-commerce club will be launched with the aim to offer fast no bull advice. I haven’t written the biz plan yet but I’m adamant it’s £1 a month.
Anyone want a Shopify, eBay, Amazon and linnworks e-commerce solution, 1 careful owner with 2 suppliers plugged in. Semi serious lol
