Royal Mail medical payments

Not sure this is the right section, but what the heck. What sort of ailments can get you invalided out of the Royal Mail, and get a continuous payment afterwards, subject to medical examinations?

I'm not, and none of my family or friends, have been employed by the RM, this is just... research, if you like.
