Image editing on a mac, but i can't afford photoshop.

Im looking for a cheap image editor, or even a free one.

I have been using seashore, but everything takes such a long time. And things like "darken" or "colour burn" don't exist.

I had GIMP on my last computer, but its a rigmarole to get it on a mac.

What do you guys use?

What do you mean by a "rigmarole" ?

I have OSX lion, I don't think it works on that.

Im trying the free demo now, and it looks like the sort of thing I'm after.

The file saving is a bit strange.
