Can anyone recommend which hard disks to get for the HP Microserver? I don't really understand the colour code scheme on some of the SATA drives.

I'll probably fill all 4 drive bays so maybe 4x 1TB drives?

Is it worth getting SSD's?

The OS will be on an SD card for all 4 drives is pure storage.

I might just get 2 x 2TB's on a raid 1 instead.

I'm pretty sure the HP Microserver doesn't support RAID 5.

Think i'll just get 2 x 2tb in a RAID 1. That should do the trick.

What about memory? I want to add another 4GB stick in the server, Can anyone provide a link for which is compatible? I've read it needs to be ECC non registered?
