123-reg.co.uk Email

I have been using a 123-reg.co.uk domain email address for years and never really noticed the cost of renweal (sure this year it has jumped). The domain is a .co.uk and the yearly renewal is £43.06 for the year (this is not the domain renewal).

I do not use the 123-reg.co.uk in box but you my gmail account but have it set to send from my domain and receive from my domain using 123-reg.co.uk pop and smpt (sorry not to clued up on this).

Could I still use my set up without the 123-reg renewal of the email box (I wil still own the domain)?

That does, sort of make sense thank you.

At the minute when someone emails me at [e-mail] I read it on gmail. I can also send from Gmail and the recipient will see it being from [e-mail] though. I have input 123-reg smtp settings into gmail to do this.
