Anyone still got one? Bought mine 18 years ago, been repaired a few times only for the cable to the screen, and backlights, backlight doesn't work now, and the repair shop in Stretham tells me they have no spares for that. Think it was about £160.00

Still use it, used it a few minutes ago to look up some passwords I store those in their version of excel.

Have quite a lot of programmes in excel as well on there. Even bought a used one as a spare.

I bloody love Psion stuff...

And yes the 3MX is the ultimate, I would argue better than the 5MX

The one on the left when you pull it out of the case, got one of those as well.

Years ago there was a police raid, and the cocky crim deleted all info from his Psion, the one we are talking about, unbeknown to him, deleted stuff was retrievable, it was and he went down.

Good to know I am not the only one still using a Psion. Mine lives in a lovely leather pouch by Vega which the OH got me just after I got the Psion.

Wow blast from the past. I had a couple of Psion's but neither were actually Psion badged.

I had an Acorn badged one, called a pocketbook IIRC which was a rebadged version of your 3, although it may have been a slightly earlier 3 than your MX

I then got a 5MX but again this one was actually the rebadged version sold as an Ericsson.

Loved both of them.
You mentioned the 5mx, at the time I couldnt afford the 5mx, so got the 3mx, used one though, my pals, wrote some programmes for him. Really liked the stylus.

I sold my 3mx to a lady barrister who basically ran her business on them & was stocking up on spares whenever they appeared on ebay. I managed to run my business on it for a few years using the spreadsheet to produce invoices & the Money program to run my finances. When I eventually moved to a PC & just imported the Money file into Quicken & it worked perfectly.

Sadly it suffered with the hinge flexi cable problem which was one of the reasons I moved on from it. I must get round to ebaying the lovely leather case I have for it.
Had the hinge cable fixed a few times by a place in Streatham, they no longer have spares.

My wife bought me a lovely case for my birthday years ago, lovely piece of kit, name on it is "Holster". Just remembered the 3mx could emit dialling codes in sound, hold the phone to it and it dialled the number.

Still use mine for bits and pieces.
