Anybody got Nest Hello? Been looking at Ring 2 doorbells recently as more of a security feature than an actual doorbell, come across Nest Hello last night.

I already have Nest Thermostat and Google Home Speaker so seems a better option to add another Nest product to the house rather than an Amazon product.

Reviews seem quite good as well.

Didn't really fancy the cheap one was looking at Ring 2 but that revolves around Ring/Amazon infrastructure and I have Google/Nest stuff in my house hence why I was thinking of the Nest.

I currently have one of these cheap battery operated wireless doorbells so there is no wiring or inside chime.

You can't have a Nest Hello without wires, sadly. It needs 24v to the bell to provide video
Yep realised that, does it need to have a chime as well or can it work without? (I have Google Home, read somehwere that can act as a chime)

I didn't get round to it, local companies charging £325 for it fitted.

I've read quite a few reviews saying the nest is better, and it works with the stuff I have which is all Google stuff.
