How have I just started Amazon Prime?

Without choosing it, selecting it, clicking it, or even logging on to amazon today? I just got an email welcoming me to amazon prime. I have logged on and it’s not a spoof I have apparently just started amazon prime membership, at the moment on free trial and to start paying on 22nd October.
The only thing I’ve done is played capital radio today on my amazon echo.
I 100% have not opted to or chosen inadverntly or whatever amazon prime. So what gives? Anyone else had this?

ok panic over live chat were able to tell me that I (apparently) began the trial when using the fire stick. My missus was looking for movies on kodi which is loaded on fire stick so presumably also clicked on something on the actual amazon side of things.
Annoyingly I checked the fire stick earlier to see if I could see anything but it tells you s
t-all about if / when / how you signed up to prime. but it turned out it was. Only 'they' can see how you signed up.
