Amazon have started their black Friday sale already!

Anyone spotted any great deal yet?

I'm after a Fire Stick and they've reduce the basic one to £25 but I'm still wondering if it's worth waiting to see if they reduce the 4K one as well.

Big discounts on Echo's too, tempted to get a Dot for the bedroom, how's the sound on the new ones compared to the full sized Echos?

When you say already, you know it’s today right?
Black Friday is supposedly next Friday (the day after thanksgiving in the US), but as mentioned it seems to be getting longer and longer every year. Amazon's sale appears to be 9 days, dunno about other retailers.

Dixons at Birmingham airport seem to be undercutting Amazon's sale prices slightly. I just bought a Fire stick for 99p cheaper, the 7“ fire tablet my Mrs bought yesterday would have been 99p cheaper, and they have echo dots for 99p less too, but I want one with a euro power cable and they don't stock them.

Seen one, never tried it, not sure if I'd use it but maybe, so, does this just connect to your home hub? If i keep it within range of the hub will it still work, ie in the garage or workroom? (Understand it needs to reboot every time you move it).
Needs to be on your WiFi to work, and is mains powered, but it'll remember your WiFi settings and be back online pretty quick if you move it. I use my echo for Internet radio, streaming music £3.99/month subscription), weather forecast, kitchen timers, news, controlling some mains plugs and intercom to my wife when we're in different countries. Sound quality isnt as good on the dot as the bigger ones, but I'm thinking of getting a dot for the bedroom having already got an original echo in the lounge.

Typical, the day after I succumbed and bought the lesser version!

Just return it for free and get the other wink
Bought it form Dixons at the airport rather than Amazon so not that easy to return. TV's only 1080 though so the only think it would really give me is the volume control on the remote so I'll stick with the one I've got now.

Annoyingly Amazon are doing their own brand smart plug for €9.99 when you buy an Echo Dot, but they won't deliver to my location.

ETA; Looks like they won't deliver any Echo products to me in the Netherlands! Nearly bought one at the airport the other day but decided to get one from Amazon Germany to get a Euro plug instead of a UK one. Never thought they might not ship them to me frown

Tried here?:

https://www.amazon.nl

I’m in Austria and no local amazon, defaults to German one and sometimes can’t get certain things sent here which is annoying, all prime things can be though.
It's only a Kindle store unfortunately. I'm guessing they're only shipping out on fing them to "official" Echo countries. My Mrs is flying out on Friday so will see if Gatwick ahs them at the same price, but it does mean I'm stuck with a UK plug though.
