Keep getting a pop-up saying they'll be switching to Gmail in March, I must admit I much prefer Inbox. In my opinion, it is easier to organise various emails. In Inbox I have a "purchases" section, for example which I put purchases in (no surprises there), when the delivery comes, I then archive it. In the new Gmail there doesn't appear to be a way to put your own label as a tab across the top, so if I have several things on order that I don't want to archive but still be visible in my main inbox, I'm left with several lines of emails.

Or am I missing something?

Thanks smile

Those who have never used inbox.... It's just a MUCH better interface than Gmail. Allows much better organisation for starters.

I've also downloaded Spark today and find it better than Gmail.
Hmmm, will have to look into this. How is it better, and assume it works fine with gmail account. Only issue is, I'm assuming you must enter your gmail credentials (tin foil hat mode).

Is there a way to create labels/folders and sort emails into the smart inbox? So, for example, I currently have 4 emails which haven't been archived. 2 of them are purchases I have made online and am waiting for delivery, the other 2 are related to work. Is it possible to create a label/folder which could be titled "purchases" and another "work", put the 4 emails into their corresponding label, so in the smart inbox I only have 2 labels/folders showing, I click on them, and then that would then show the 2 emails contained within that label/folder?

Cheers
