Looks like the BBC are pulling the plug on Tunein on a range of devices.

I think Sonos will be ok but many others like Denon Heos, marantz, B and O, NAD will be screwed
Those with Amazon Alexa units will need to load the BBC skill, if you use a phone you will need another app

Details are here
https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/aboutthebbc/entries/37...

Changes happen on 30/8/19

The crazy thing is it seems to affect UK users only? So it must be some licencing bks rather than a technical/ obsolescence issue. ETA its because Tune in wont share data

Thanks Auntie
Time to blow the dust off the DAB radio again rolleyes

If you read my original post I have put a link to the BBC detailing the changes.
Judging by the comments on the BBC blog implementation is patchy.

I have simply put the post up to make people aware of the the BBCs intention.
I was made aware of these changes as a result of a technical bulletin issued by an equipment manufacturer, and thought I'd pass the info on as it has not been very widely publicised.
I thought it may be useful to pass the info on.

Not odd at all
I have stated twice in this thread Sonos is NOT affected by this change but many other platforms are.
