iPhone Screen Protector

Having bought and got sorted with a new iPhone for my wife, I'm looking for screen protectors.
What a minefield.
There's tons on Amazon and the like but everyone of them has good and terrible reviews
Is the really a decent one out there? Not expecting it to survive a nuclear attack butt according to reviews some just crack without provocation.

Thanks for all replies, good to get some genuine reviews rather that the ones from amazon fantasists. Wonder if the apple screens are less prone, my Sony phone is scratched to buggery after a couple of years of sliding it into pockets with keys, sliding off car seats etc.
