OK, I hate that when I was looking at the 7 I needed about 64gb and they only offered 32 or 128 forcing you to pay more.

I hate the way you can't position stuff where you want on the home screen.

The widgets were crap, but looks like that might be better with iOS14.

I hate no 'always on display.'

I hate the way Apple treat you like a child.

I hate that they hold back features and hardware Androids had for ages - wireless charging, fast charging, OLED screens, and the most recent one - higher refresh rates.

Though kind of like the look of the 12.

Yes Apple can be a PIA but then most big companies are. I hate the thought of having to stand in a queue outside one their stores to spend my hard earned. I do want a new phone thought and my other products are Apple which integrate very well together.

That’s pretty much where I am. I’ll upgrade to the 12 but I’d prefer the smaller version, fits better into my pockets.

Same with my 7 so changed the battery.........no difference!! Guessing that Apple are up to the shenanagens again.

Someone earlier in the thread said similar, Apple can be bloody infuriating.

Yeah I went for a new battery last year, they cracked my screen and ended up giving me a new iPhone. It's just quite old tech now, not sure whether I want to pay £700 for a new phone though, it's still easy to use on a day to day basis.

Hmmm. How could I weaken my screen before taking it in?

iPhone 4 was an iconic design and the best looking iPhone IMHO (last of Jobs' iPhones).

The 4 also fitted neatly into my shirt pocket which could still be buttoned closed. Much less chance of it getting stolen.

It’s looking like the new iPhone will be launched alongside IOS 14 which will curb advertising revenues for app developers. Apparently users will have to consent to allow them to be tracked.

I take mine out of the case to put on the charging mat in my car. Otherwise it overheats and closes down.
