Anyone sell TVs?
Discussion
I want one of these - Samsung QE43Q60TA. I believe the price is in the region of £550.
Is there anyone on here who sells such an item and wants the sale, ideally you would work for a small/independent company as I prefer to line the pockets of small business and not the giants etc..
Oh I need it delivered and the sooner the better.

Surely Richer Sounds is your answer.
Look into how they rewards staff, etc etc etc

I don't think you can beat the credentials here.
And...
Our Founder and MD, Julian Richer began buying and selling hi-fi separates at school when he was 14. In 1978, aged 19, he opened his first shop on London Bridge Walk with the help of the late Vic Odden, a photography retailer. In May 2019, he handed control of the business over to an Employee Owned Trust, so Richer Sounds is now controlled and majority owned by the people who work in the company. We now trade from 52 stores nationwide, online and through our telesales and business to business departments. We may have started in budget hi-fi, but in more recent years we have also gained a significant reputation in TV, home cinema systems and premium audio.
Oh - and they have your telly

And they offer a 5 yr warranty. It’s hard to beat them!
Sometimes six years - my new Toshiba 32" was cheaper there than Currys or John Lewis even after the next-day delivery charge, and has this. Only thing was I had to order over the phone, couldn't buy it on line for some reason.I don't think I'd realised that Richer Sounds was run that way, that's good to know.

I'm looking at getting the model below I believe, what are the justifications for spending more on the one in the OP?
Samsung UE43TU7100 @£349
Thanks

Peter Tyson is worth a look too, I’ve had a number of good experiences with them. I think they’re a relatively small outfit.
Last couple of TVs I’ve bought have come from John Lewis with accidental damage warranty. With small kids the peace of mind is worth it, and they cover burn in on OLED, not that that will be relevant for the TV you want.
Although they’re obviously a much larger outfit, I believe they treat their staff pretty well with end of year profit shares etc.

The OPs model is QLED whereas yours isn’t. Both models get ok reviews for the price point, you’re a bit limited at that screen size though.Samsung UE43TU7100 @£349

Good comparison here https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/samsung-q6...

I would say go round a mate's house who has the QLED and then ask again.. Oh, you won't. Once you have watched F1 in UHD or played a fast game you will see why.....

I have the QE43Q60RA, despite being warned against it on this thread:Once you have watched F1 in UHD or played a fast game you will see why.....

To be honest, it isn’t amazing, and the problems with black levels are evident. The Mrs was watching something the other day, with a dark scene, and practically the whole screen was black - no definition at all.
I’d be interested to see how it compared to better or lower models, but it’s not as great as I hoped.
