The R107 SL Thread

Can't find a decent UK forum who provides a sub forum for particular models such as the R107.

Without a Sub Forum I any thread gets lost amognst a load of other stuff

So....lets start off ......any 107 SL owners out there? Post up a pic to get us started and any problems/issues (of the car nature)


Anyway Here's mine.....A lovely low mileage...low owner 500. I've had many and regretted selling every one of them.....This one's a keeper

That's a very fine looking R107 you have. There is a good R107 sub forum on the Mercedes-Benz-club.co.uk. But you do have to be a member. If you join it will be the best £38 you will spend. I have a 89 R107 in signal red with mushroom interior. Only done 28k miles from new and is my favourite car and will be a keeper. Just won the MB National Concours with it this year so well pleased. I would post some pics if I new how, I'm getting on a bit now, all these new fangled gadgets confuse me.

I might take a look though another £38 does put me off.

Love red, had a 34000 mile red one myself which I sold a few years ago.

If you go to a hosting site such as Photobucket then you can post up here...I'm sure there are other ways but I'm rubbish too

I've just bought this

4000 miles from new and as new....never used in the wet.

Paid far too much probably but it'll look good along side my other 500

Great car......Nice to see one used.

The mountains of salt put me off using any decent car in the winter on the UK roads


Was LSD std on all 500's?
