CLK 3 litre diesel or petrol ?

I am looking at 10/12 year old CLKs.

My wife will have a 120 miles round trip to make twice a week for the next 18 months or so and I would like to get something for her to make the journey in to keep the miles off her SLK.
The engine will be 3 litre but should I go for the 3.2cdi or the petrol ?

Thanks for that ZX10R NIN. And thanks for researching the marketplace. I'm afraid black is out for me as,living in the country, I need to wash the thing twice a week !
