C250 W205 - Winter Tyres

Hi guys,

I am sure that this question has probably already been asked but despite trawling posts I cannot get an answer.

I have a 2017 C250 4matic with 19” Alloy wheels on. I am thinking about getting winter tyres (everything I have read says that this is the sensible thing to do). (I am based in the UK - is it the right thing to do?!?!)

Assuming winter tyres are the right option then does anyone have any recommendations on wheels / tyres? (I haven’t got room to store summer tyres)

Thansk for the replies guys. I have decided against them (haha) and gone for a few cans of liquid snow chains... then at least have something if it does snow and I am out and about.
