As per the title, I almost bought a 'current' C63s coupe because it was a pretty good deal but I'm probably going to wait for the new one.
The question is, has anyone got any information as to release dates? Has anyone managed to put down a deposit on one? I would have thought it was a pretty big deal but I simply can't find anymore information. Maybe I'm being impatient but it was unveiled in March so I would have thought we'd heard more by now?

Apparently the configurator is launching this week. That means the order books open too.
Interesting, thank you. One dealer said they don't know anything yet (think they were trying to shift old stock onto me) and another said they'd been taking deposits since April. jon-yprpe said:
I’m picking up my new 2018 (pre-facelift) C63 next Sat. Got a mega deal, and I’m really not sure about the new ‘vertical stripe’ grill om the AMGs....it doesn’t work for me, although it looks fantastic on the GT.
So, 2 more gear ratios, electronic rather than mech LSD, new rear splitter......meh.
The external is nice but for me too it's hard to top the pre facelift, it's a great looking car.So, 2 more gear ratios, electronic rather than mech LSD, new rear splitter......meh.
I think the interior isn't so meh, it's the only thing that lets down the pre facelift for me, specifically the dials. It's not enough to put me off mind.
Enjoy your car!

I’m itching to order a facelift 63S, I cant believe it’s taking Mercedes so long to release the price lists and specifications considering it was unveiled in March. It’s only a mild facelift!
Anyone got any news on when orders can be placed?
I'm thinking the same as you, the old configurator has been down for some time now. A few murmurings suggest that maybe end of July is the media embargo (press event has happened) so perhaps around then we'll have more info?Anyone got any news on when orders can be placed?
There's still a small amount of stock at decent money but I'm holding off.

I was offered a discount of around 15/16% (just under 12k) on a factory build but this was on the pre facelift. I will be looking to deal as close to that as I can when I place an order.
That's about what I'm looking at, starting to be more appealing that waiting for the new one. I didn't think there's any more factory orders? Just new stock allocated to various dealerships, that's the impression I'm under at least.Edited by theplumber on Wednesday 4th July 19:13

Specs and price lists now released.
A 63S coupe wth premium pack now 80K, with a few options 85K!!... This is a whole lot of cash for a C class.. Strating to wish I’d bought the old model with a fat discount!
Where have you seen this? I know PH have posted that prices are out but I can't seem to find them.A 63S coupe wth premium pack now 80K, with a few options 85K!!... This is a whole lot of cash for a C class.. Strating to wish I’d bought the old model with a fat discount!

I’m with you, I really want the facelift but the best I’ve been offered on my 85k spec is 81k. It’s hard to ignore that I could just buy a similar spec pre facelift 2018 car for 20k less...
I think jon-yprpe earlier in this thread is on a winner with his 24% discount on a pre facelift.
I can’t see these holding value well and surely it’s only a matter of time before they have to start heavily discounting the new model to get them selling. I just can’t see many people having the appetite to deal at this price.
Have you been offered money off a brand new one already? I suppose I automatically assumed there'd be no wiggle room given supposed popularity but as mentioned I can't see these shifting too quickly. Residuals on the old W204s were pretty good (I'm considering going back for my 3rd!) but £80k+ for a car that's going lose maybe 40% of that in 3 years is quite hard to stomach.I think jon-yprpe earlier in this thread is on a winner with his 24% discount on a pre facelift.

I was aiming for 13% as this seems to be the current discounts offered on C43's and E63's through carwow.
Unfortunately dealers are not pricing the C63 through carwow at present (although I'm sure it wont be long) so I did the deal at 10%
Are you going to order one tgclowes?

I'd like to but I wanted to nail my spec down and get a better idea on figures, as above it's becoming a very expensive C class so it has to be right!
When's yours due?
Bit of a bump, but has anyone got one yet? Or managed to order one?
I went to bite the bullet at the weekend but the configurator was down so interestingly enough I wasn't able to place an order at the dealer, I thought this was a bit strange. Configurator still seems to be down.
The lack of info out there for these is a bit odd, dealers can't seem to advise on too much either.

Looking for a C43 face lift myself, Mercedes Grimsby seems to be doing 12% through Orange wheels... Still a very expensive C class though after options...
Personally I would buy a pre-reg or ex demo car for 10k less after 6 months but there are none with all the options I want !
Sounds about right, I was quoted around 10-11% off by the dealer themselves. Personally I would buy a pre-reg or ex demo car for 10k less after 6 months but there are none with all the options I want !
They did have a facelift C43 in the showroom when I went in, very very nice!
